Committee Chairs: Mohamud Aden Hassan Yusuf
Description: Mohamud Aden and Hassan Yusuf, both graduates of the certificate program in interpreting at the University of Minnesota and employees of Regions Hospital, are convening a Somali Glossary outreach committee this fall.
The committee will begin meeting approximately twice a month to work on creating a better understanding of how to interpret difficult medical terms in Somali.
As an outreach committee, people do not need to be members of UMTIA to be members of the committee. Please let professional Somali interpreters know about this group.
