Translators Café

UMTIA is happy to announce the third session of the Translators Café, an opportunity for translators in the area to meet twice a year and share our experiences.

This meeting of the Translators Café will focus on "certification," a concept that sometimes causes confusion. Clients often ask for "certified translations," but how do these relate to the certification of translators and interpreters (by the ATA and other organizations)?

There will be at least two translators experienced with various types of "certification" to answer questions and lead the discussion.

When: February 27, 2018
Time: 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Where: Southdale Library
 Helen Young Room -

Cost: FREE (registration is required)

If you have any questions, please contact Claudia Giannini at: giann001@umn.edu

Attendance at this event presumes acceptance of the use of photographs of the event for UMTIA promotional material
