Note-Taking Workshop for Dialogue Interpreters 

Have you NEVER  taken notes and want to learn about note-taking techniques for interpreters?

Have you ALWAYS  taken notes, but want to improve your skills?

Attend this hands on workshop in which you'll explore theory and practice of note-taking in dialogue interpreting settings and have the chance to put what you learn into practice.

Rachel Herring has an M.A. in Translation and Interpreting of Spanish from the Monterey Institute of International Studies (California) and a Masters of Advanced Studies in Interpreter Training from the Faculte de traduction et d'interpretation at the University of Geneva (Switzerland). She is also a CMI-Spanish. She teaches interpreting (TRIN) Program at Century College, and she works as a casual interpreter for Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.

Anyone arriving after 9:15 a.m. or leaving before 12 p.m. will not receive a certificate of participation.
